Sr Mgr Wireless Product Development: To oversee production schedules and to identify key risks in development cycles and in resource allocation. Implement and maintain a project management solution.
On a daily basis, time is spent planning and scheduling projects with the production team, identifying project risks and delays, allocating resources, ensuring inter-departmental operations are working cohesively and assessing departmental needs and dependencies; On a weekly basis, time is spent assessing risk and, in turn, scheduling resources; Monthly, this job makes recommendations for improved workflow and more efficient processes; Quarterly, this job sets up project management tools and assesses new process requirements as the wireless marketplace changes; This position selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
This position is responsible for fully supervising a staff of 3, including a Deployment Manager, Associate Deployment Manager and a Deployment Coordinator.
This position has final decision-making authority for Assessment and Analysis types of decisions; Works on issues where analysis of situations and/or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objective; implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results; establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements; erroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities.
At least an AA Degree is required, Bachelor’s Degree is desired; Microsoft Certified MS Project certification is required.
