Nokia bows to cellcos in midrange

This analysis proposes that Nokia is ceding the mid-range mobile market to concentrate on the high-end market. I don’t think it makes its case very well, considering it points out that Nokia will bring out more clamshell and sliding handsets precisely to increase its market share. The company also appears to be moving into media and enterprise markets. Its promoting near field communications (NFC) technology to simplify the purchase of ringtones and games, boosting the market for such content.
