Wall Street Journal reports that FCC Chairman Michael Powell has no plans to leave the agency. Mr. Powell said following an FCC meeting he was “thrilled” with the election results. When asked about his future, Mr. Powell said, “I’m happy where I am” and joked that he’d leave the FCC “no later than 2007,” when his term is up.
