Movie Industry Needs To Move Past

(reg. req.): James Coates recommends this for Motion Picture Association, instead of suing the public: “Hire top programmers and instead of worrying about pirates downloading terrible copies of movies, find a way to make downloads reasonably fast and their quality acceptable to the public….If they can perfect this technology, moviemakers can expect the same flourishing online sales that recordmakers enjoy, and they, too, will be spared the costs of recording stuff on plastic, sealing it in cases and shipping it into the hinterland…”
