Foreign-owned ISPs–like AOL and MSN–have defended their position in the development of the UK broadband market after the BBC’s director of new media and technology, Ashley Highfield, suggested that the UK media industry would be controlled by foreign companies if something wasn’t done.
Again, the narroband/text-based competition (or the lack of it, rather) in UK is now ready to be played out in the broadband arena in UK. Rest assured, it will be covered on this site better than anywhere else….so stay tuned…
