A commentary piece based on the recent report of a Dutch newspaper putting a picture taken with a camera phone on its front page that argues that instead of being replaced by new media such as moblogs, traditional media organizations will co-opt them. The line between news reader and news producer will become increasingly blurred as “cameraphone users or digital shutterbugs are usually anywhere news happens, so they are not only there first but can take more revealing pictures before official photographers ever get to the scene.”
