Since we’re on the topic of European digital TV market, here’s another one to ponder: why is Sky only thinking about the set-top box? “The wildcard over the next few years for Sky, as for many broadcasters, is broadband Internet. Sky must now think seriously about how it can maximise its audience and revenue potential by tapping into everything that broadband has to offer. This may include not just material based on its existing TV services, but also other content genres such as music and games.”
