The one thing that might cut into the huge market share the iPod has grabbed in the personal audio segment has just gone on sale from the XM Satellite Radio people. The Myfi is the first portable satellite radio based on the XM2go technology by XM. Some might say it is expensive at $350 but in addition to the small receiver look at all you get in the package:Hand-held MYFi receiverRechargeable, integrated batteryComplete home accessory kitComplete vehicle accessory kitFirst-ever built-in XM antennaHeadphonesRemote controlBelt clip/standCarrying caseThe MyFi battery is estimated at 5 hours which is exactly how much programming you can store in the device memory. Access to over 130 digital XM radio channels just might be enough to sway some of those sitting on the fence about MP3 players. Of course, wearing the satellite dish on your head may be too much for some. :)
