VeriSign, which acquired German mobile content provider Jamba in June, has posted suprisingly good results, mainly due to Jamba’s revenues…Revenue climbed 21 percent to $325.3 million, well above the $285 million forecast by the company in July. Part of that outperformance was due to “significant over achievement” by Jamba unit..
VeriSign initially expected that it would generate about $35 million in revenue…but Jamba actually generated $74 million in revenue in Q3. The company doesn’t break out the unit’s profitability.
VeriSign expects Jamba to generate about $85 million in revenue for Q4….
