CNET in Profits; Revs Up 22 Percent

(Earnings call at 5 PM EST, here..) CNET Networks reported that Q3 revenues totaled $70.5 million, a 22 percent increase compared to revenues of $57.7 million in the year-ago period. The recent acquisition of Webshots contributed approximately $2.0 million to total revenues during the quarter.

Net income was $1.1 million compared to a net loss of $5.8 million for the same period last year.

The company also announced the resignation of its longtime CFO…the company will start search for a new CFO…

MarketWatch: The company’s shares fell over 10 percent in the extended-hours session after it trimmed its fourth-quarter sales outlook and on jitters about CFO Doug Woodrum’s job change…
