At a conference in NYC, Brad Anderson, CEO of the $18 billion retailer, said that tying refrigerators, security systems, and other devices to the home network was the next big thing. Anderson said he also sees himself as an advocate for standards-setting, and talked about retailing physical media in a time where content providers are pushing online services.
