Variety.com has re-designed it site (well, cleaned it up is a better term), and has also launched a video service called “Variety Vision“. It is a weekly news show consisting of 3-4 segments, 2-3 minutes in length. Users may watch top Variety editors, including Peter Bart, Elizabeth Guider and Tim Gray, talk about issues affecting the industry.
The video roll out is part of a larger initiative by Variety parent company, Reed Business Information, to develop more video content on its stable of B2B sites — initially in its Media Division.
