The satellite radio service XM, which last month announced it online radio service, has formally launched it now…it is here…
It has a monthly fee of $7.99. XM Satellite Radio subscribers receive a discounted rate $3.99 a month.
I just signed up for a 3-day trial, and it looks good..simple, Flash-based interface…(doesn’t work in Opera…am using IE)
Update: Maybe it is a bit too simple: no way to mark favorite channels…and it doesn’t even come close to services like Virgin Digital (also at $7.99 a month) and more evolved Rhapsody (at $9.95 a month). So it is expensive for what it is offering…needs more content, channels, and tools…
