VeriTouch, which has developed a biometric DRM system for content, and has also launched iVue, a portable Linux based media player employing that technology, is now expanding the content on it: it has tied up with The Digital Network to jointly develop a nation-wide wireless entertainment network for downloading movies, music and video games to the player.
Not sure what this means: “TDN has developed technology to securely distribute large digital files using opportunistically available bandwidth of high definition TV broadcasts to targeted receivers.”
