Flat-rate data pricing, snazzy phones and an insatiable consumer appetite for high-tech services, are all contributing to Japan’s mobile internet boom…a very good story explaining the story in Japan.
A professor at Hitotsubashi University, Prof. Jeffrey Funk, is writing in a book on the subject, “Mobile Disruption”, and has used the concepts of “disruptive technology” and “network effects” to understand the Japanese mobile internet wave.
