I’m sure this is possible in other P2P software solutions out there, but Register writes that this is very easy to install. The software/company Grouper has some very cool features: Grouper focuses on sharing files between friends. Users can set up mini-P2P networks and open up their photos, music, movies and documents.
In addition, the Grouper software does not let users download each others’ music. Instead, it only permits streams of music files, while permitting downloads of other content.
The management background is also very interesting: ex Spinner.com president, founder, and co-founder of Friskit (a particular favorite of mine back when I was in college)…
