The Age of Consultative Content

An interesting way of looking at the close relationship these days between editorial and readers in some of the trade pubs…(something I’m trying to develop for this site as well)

“In a task-oriented environment like the Web, information is a service, the right content at the right time, fulfilling a specific need, delivered in a convenient way. To do this, you must get users to tell you what information they need and how they use it and then shape your content so that readers perceive your site as a service.”
