We have a special section this month on the converging online and mobile music markets. We’re only seeing the very beginnings of it (the Motorola-Apple deal is a pointer to that), but it is bound to happen. The labels are not too keen on it, mainly because of the bounty they’re earnings on the much-higher priced ringtones, compared to online music downloads.

We also have sections on mobile music technology & DRM, and ringbacks…

And then, regional news from UK and Europe, the hotbed of technological innovation in this sector, and Asia, the place where it is really happening..

Companies Covered in This Report: Apple. Motorola, Vindigo, Zingy, T-Mobile, Monstermob, Loudeye, Virgin Mobile, Warner Music, EMI, InfoSpace Mobile, O2, Siemens, and others….
