The embattled publishing firm Hollinger International is considering the sale or merger of assets at its new media arm (which has invested in a number of digital media companies over the years), reports FT.
The company is looking at the potential flotation of Cambridge Display Technologies and Shopping.com. Both companies have been registered for possible IPOs.
Of the 45 investments by Hollinger Digital, only five resulted in gains, according to the story.
