UK Regulator Ofcom Asked to Investigate Expensive Mobile Content Services

UK’s telecom/new media regulator Ofcom is being asked to investigate rogue companies that send unsolicited text messages and sign people up to expensive subscription services.
There is growing concern among consumer groups that mobile phone users are being bombarded by rogue text messages – some of which they have to pay for. More worryingly, other users are signing up to premium rate services without realizing it.
