To stem its thinning revenue stream, EMI Music (Thailand) is trying to find more cell-phone service partners to help it peddle its music and other content to mobile-phone users.
It already has arrangements with Advanced Info Service, DTAC and i-Mobile cell-phone shops, which allow their customers to download songs or other digital content from EMI. The company also plans to approach handset manufacturers such as Samsung and Siemens.
EMI Thailand’s digital mobile content sales accounted for 10 per cent of its revenue last year, according to the company.
