An interesting story of how things have changed, hopefully for the better: Last weekend, in an NFL first, the Miami Dolphins team hosted the operators of 14 fan web sites at what they hope will become an annual Dolphins Web Weekend.
“Dolphins executives said they wanted to meet a growing group that reaches thousands of fans. Consider it something akin to political conventions awarding media credentials to people who run Internet Weblogs.”
