The online gaming technology company with one of the worst names out there, There Inc, has changed its name to Forterra Systems, and raised $14 million in a new round of funding. The round was led by Jerusalem Venture Partners with existing investors Sutter Hill Ventures and Chichen-Itza Ventures participating.
Menlo Park, CA-based Forterra’s software enables the large multi-players games…In another development, Forterra has appointed Robert Gehorsam as new CEO.
Globes Online: In conjunction with this financing, Forterra will expand its focus from operating consumer online services to providing virtual world technologies to government, industry, education, and consumer entertainment companies.
