Heading into the new school year, more universities are tackling their downloading problems aggressively. Some are blocking access to music file-sharing sites, while others are making deals to provide online music for their students.
“We’re not content police,” says Lori Temple, associate provost for information technology at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. “We’re bandwidth police.”
