Content providers: sharpen your knives and head down under…Australian telco Telstra is ramping up its mobile content project, forming a new group to manage relationships with what it hopes will be a raft of new content suppliers for its i-mode and 3G services.
The group currently numbers about 50, having doubled in size over the past few months. Staff recruited to gather content include former employees of handset vendors and other networks in the UK and Europe, as well as people with internet content experience.
