Mobile entertainment publisher Sorrent, based in San Mateo, has raised $20 million in third round of financing led by BA Venture Partners. Sorrent’s current investors New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Globespan Capital Partners and Sienna Ventures join BA Ventures in the round.
In a related release, Sorrent also announced it has signed a direct publishing agreement with SK Telecom, Korea’s biggest telco provider, where SK will distribute Sorrent’s portfolio of Java mobile entertainment products.
