One of the networks targeted by the music industry for piracy, Israeli-based iMesh, agreed to settle a lawsuit by paying 4.1 million dollars and stopping unauthorized song-swapping.
LA Times (reg. req.): The company agreed to begin monitoring millions of users and stop them from making unauthorized copies of songs… Neither iMesh nor the Recording Industry Assn. of America would discuss how iMesh planned to modify its network to comply with the agreement.
