Yahoo’s fourth big venture in broadband access bundling (after SBC Yahoo in U.S., BT Yahoo in UK and Yahoo BB in Japan..are there any more?) will launch in Canada today. The company announced a JV with Canadian telco Rogers in Jan this year, and the portal service is launching today…have a peek here: rogers.yahoo.com.
The Rogers-Yahoo site, available only to Rogers’ high-speed Internet subscribers, will also offer eight secondary e-mail addresses, improved news and entertainment services and the option to upgrade e-mail storage.
The launch comes a month after rival Bell Canada launched its own enhanced portal in partnership with MSN.
