TOM Online has received analysts’ stamp of approval for its clear focus on China’s high-growth wireless value-added services market and is well placed to capture opportunities in this fast expanding sector. And it has skirted the SMS revenues decline: Based on first quarter figures, TOM Online derived 92% of its revenue from wireless value-added services. Of the total, non-SMS services contributed nearly 40%, a proportion analysts expect to rise in coming months.
