AM3, the company responsible for the Advance Movie Player, a Japan-only device that lets your Game Boy Advance play movies that come on tiny flash memory cards, has finalized plans for its Advance Movie download service.
The download service centers on a small vending machine called the “Advance Gasha-Pon” (the picture on right). This machine is meant to be placed in storefronts and has input slots for coins and flash memory cards. The Game Boy users will be able to download the movies on their Flash cards through this vending machines…each movie will cost 100 yen (about $2.70). Blank memory cards of 32 MB in size will be available for 1980 yen.
The service will be launched in August…
