
(sub. req.) According to Variety.com, online videogame media company IGN Entertainment is expanding its presence in the film space by acquiring review-compilation site Rotten Tomatoes.

Hollywood Reporter: The acquisition marks IGN’s third in 12 months, having previously purchased GameSpy Industries and TeamXbox. The company briefly changed its name to IGN/GameSpy but has reverted back to IGN Entertainment.
