Real Rhapsody: Channel Marketing Manager – Music Devices & OEMs

Do you get excited about music devices such as MP3 players and Digital Media Adapters? This role is responsible for managing relationships with our third-party music device partners (e.g. Linksys, Netgear, Creative). You’ll be responsible for RHAPSODY subscriber acquisition and marketing within your channel. You’ll develop and execute marketing and sales programs, many of which will extend into the retail environment. You’ll have the ability to build strong partner and internal relationships with the focus on identifying program enhancement and expansion opportunities. You’ll work closely with BD to develop marketing value as part of structuring device partnerships and with the PM to determine device integration efforts, including bundling and pricing strategies. You should be able to recommend creative approaches to promotions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with or for consumer hardware companies in a marketing role. Previous marketing experience would include retail promotions, channel programs, and in-product marketing. This person is comfortable discussing software bundling, firmware updates, and other software/device product integration efforts.
