As the digital media sector takes off, consumer companies are stepping up their advertising initiatives offline as well…case in point: pick up the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, and inside you’ll see about 4-5 ads related to digital media products and services…

The ads, which I took pictures of (below), are, in order, from Napster; Comcast (promoting its music/broadband content service “The Fan”); SanDisk (promoting its flash memory card to store MP3s, digital pics etc); and AudioVox (promiting its in-car audio and video products)…
