eUniverse Restructures Operations, Announces Name Change

eUniverse, the LA-based network of entertainment and gaming sites, has had enough: it has been dogged by controversy, an SEC investigation and a bloody board battle on control of the company, and now seems to want to finally put that behind itself.

It has decided that it is not just an “entertainment network anymore” and has changed its name to IntermixMedia, and now considers itself an online marketing company, using content to deliver solutions to clients.

The company also announced its full year and Q1 earnings figures: revenues are down and losses are up, but it finally seems to have gotten a handle on all the mess…
