The music DVD business is booming – in 2003, sales were up 104.5 percent from 2002, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
“Maybe music DVDs are something that’ll always be sold in stores; if you’re a real fan, you buy the DVD; if you’re a casual fan, you download the album, ” said Lee Trink, GM of Atlantic’s Lava Records.
