Dial-That-Tune Comes to U.S.

What did I tell ya? AT&T Wireless has announced the availability of a new music recognition service…The new “#ID” music service is provided by San Francisco-based Musicphone in cooperation UK-based Shazam Entertainment. Subscribers dial #ID, hold their cell phone close to a speaker for 15 seconds, and then a song’s title and recording artist is sent via SMS to their phone.
