A new study by NAA shows no surprises: online newspapers readers are younger…”Power Users 2004: Newspapers’ Online Audience in a Broadband World” found that 44% of online newspaper readers are between 18-34. Fifty-four percent of online users who visit newspaper sites have college degrees, compared with 45% of general Internet users.
I am not sure that means anything really: the decline in newspaper readership is not necessarily being supplanted by people reading news online…
