CMGI, the one-time high-flying Internet incubator, is purchasing software company Modus Media for $157.5 million in stock.
The purchase of the company, with $543 million in 2003 revenue and 3,300 employees worldwide, improves CMGI’s standing in supply chain services – its core business before it staked its claim as a prominent Internet holding company during the tech boom.
