AOL Moves to Owner’s Front Burner

WSJ reports that even though parent Time Warner is worried about AOL’s fate, it may take a while for it to decide whether to spin or sell it off, or not…

Some people close to the AOL unit have started to believe the division might be better off on its own. These people muse that a merger with a Microsoft, Yahoo, Google or even Verizon could better position the company to compete for high-speed Internet users.
