(via Ringtonia) In South Korea, that is…LG Electronics last week started selling its LP3000 model in Korea, an MP3 phone that can save 16 music files at a time. However, the Korea Association of Phonogram Producers (KAPP) claimed the rollout is against copyright law and said it will seek to block sales of the LP3000.
LG countered that it has incorporated DRM solutions devised to prevent illegal play of music files…the KAPP claimed that back-door programs still enable free play of music files.
