Web’s Holding It Up For NYT

Even though NYT Co’s ad revenues declined 0.3% in February and it warned that first-quarter earnings may fall short of analyst expectations, the Web and broadcast division is turning out to be a bright spot for the company. Online advertising saw a 36.9% climb in Feb, mainly due to increases in display and classified ad revenues.
