So said AOL CEO Jonathan Miller said at the Reuters Technology, Media and Telecommunications Summit in New York on Friday. “We’re in some talks for something in China…It’s a different business model.” Miller would not be more specific about the nature of the new model, except to say AOL would invest far less than it did in its previous China joint venture with the nation’s No. 1 PC maker Legend Group.
Possible partners include the usual suspects, including the top 3 Net portals in the country, Sina, Sohu and Netease…
