Len Short, executive VP of brand marketing at America Online is stepping down…Short held the position for slightly more than a year and was closely involved with AOL’s entry into Super Bowl advertising.
Short’s departure comes on the heels of AOL’s decision earlier today to retain incumbent Initiative as its media planning and buying agency. Short’s responsibilities will be divided between two executives responsible for promotions and brand positioning, working under AOL’s chief marketing officer, Joe Redling.
