Infra Worlds, a French developer of mobile games, announced on Thursday that it has raised $1.72 million in seed financing, from investors including Sofinnova Partners. The company has developed game titles such as “Abalone,” “Spyro” and “Fate of Modeon,” utilizing wireless technologies including J2ME, Bluetooth and localization. Wireless carriers including France Telecom and Orange have distributed Infra Worlds’ game titles to their subscribers.
