In some sort of a first, Arista Records has tied up with InfoSpace Mobile to release its artist OutKast’s “Happy Valentine’s Day” song as a true tone (actual cong clip as ringtone) across three major telecom operators in U.S. AT&T Wireless, Cingular, and T-Mobile will be the ones to carry it…
The special Valentine’s Day promotion will make the audio available free to T-Mobile users; the carrier will be running a promotional campaign with radio and TV commercials starting immediately. AT&T Wireless and Cingular users will be charged $2.49 for the “Happy Valentine’s Day” download.
Another reason to switch, perhaps?
