Cox’s powered by High Speed Internet

Cox’s fourth quarter 2003 results were bit of a mixed bag. Revenues were $1.52 billion and the company posted a loss of 2 cents a share.
* Year-over-year telephony customer growth was 38%.
* High-speed Internet adds continue to be strong.  The company reported 144,000 new adds in the quarter, representing 41% YOY customer growth.
* Cox added 83,000 digital cable subscribers in the quarter and  Digital cable penetration reached 34%.
