Cisco reports its earnings after the market close. Expect a blow out quarter, mostly due to strength in Asian markets. Recent results of Nortel and Juniper bode well for Cisco’s second fiscal quarter. Susan Kalla, an analyst at Friedman Billings and Ramsay just raised here revenue estimates because of strong demand for Cisco routers in Asian markets. She expects Cisco to have router revenues for the January quarter are now estimated to be $1.4 billion, from $1.3 billion, representing 26% of total revenues of $5.3 billion. In compariosn with Kalla, the Wall Street herd expects sales of $5.2 billion.
