WaPo’s Online Revenues Increase 34 Percent

Washington Post Online’s revenues for Q4, 2003 increased 34 percent to $14.2 million, from $10.6 million for the fourth quarter of 2002. Local and national online advertising revenues grew 59 percent in 2003 and 54 percent for the fourth quarter of 2003. Revenues at the Jobs section of washingtonpost.com increased 29 percent in 2003 and increased 44 percent for the fourth quarter of 2003.

Overall for 2003, revenues from online increased 30 percent to $46.9 million, from $35.9 million in 2002.
