BuyMusic.com, which sorta-kinda disappreared in all the talk about Napster relaunch, iTunes and others, is a poor cousin even when it comes to tie-ups with fizzy drinks…while iTunes has tied up with Pepsi and MusicMatch ties up with Coke, it has tied up with a health drink company South Beach Beverage Company, known to you and me as SoBe.
The alliance will have upcoming joint promotions, sweepstakes, events and campaigns. Additionally, SoBe will provide grassroots marketing support to publicize BuyMusic.com, according to the company release. The first joint promotion will surround a concert series that is scheduled to begin in May 2004.
