The Finnish Broadcasting Company (YLE) has announced that from the end of this year it will be terminating its Internet streaming of radio programmes containing recorded music. The reason given is a dispute that has emerged between YLE – Finland’s public service radio and TV broadcaster – and the copyright society Gramex. Gramex promotes and administers the rights of performing artists recorded on disc.
